Ex-Googlers launch Cuil.com (pronounced “cool”)

Yet another new search engine on the block, but this time, it’s being ballyhooed as an actual challenger to Google. Cuil.com (pronounced “cool”) made its public launch today and already calls itself the “biggest search engine on the web.”

I love the idea of someone actually standing a fighting chance against Google’s monopoly on search industry. So many people buzzed about it today that their servers are down at the moment
